We specialize in institutional remodeling and commercial buildings. The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for energetic employees to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities that allow him or her to take control of a project and produce quality results. He or she will spend the majority of their time in the field. Most of our projects are in the Indianapolis area, although we do occasionally travel.   • Must be honest, hard-working, and dependable.
  • Must be a team player with a willingness to learn.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, no DUI convictions, and must be able to pass a drug test, if requested.
  • Must enjoy working in the construction field with your hands and have the ability to operate basic power tools.
  • Must be clean in appearance, articulate, respectful, and well-mannered.
  • Must have reliable transportation & phone.
  • Must have basic computer/technology skills such as receiving/sending emails, texting, FaceTime, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc

We are seeking a qualified person to perform general labor and other necessary tasks in the construction industries. A skilled individual with trade experience is preferred, although no experience is necessary. This is an entry level position with the possibility of quick promotion based on the rate of the applicant’s consistency with the company and production. The starting pay rate will be determined by the applicant’s relevant previous experience and/or the applicant shows signs of valuable potential during the interview process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting lead carpenter or foremen with carpentry and other basic labor tasks
  • Loading & unloading required items for jobsite
  • Installation of various items
  • Unpackaging and setting up various items
  • Assisting in keeping jobsite organized/clean

Skills and Requirements

Lead Carpenter / Foremen

We are developing an internal team that self-performs all aspects of carpentry to ensure our schedules and budgets are met.  We are now hiring qualified individuals who are skilled in the trade of carpentry to perform all aspects of wood framing, interior trim, exterior trim, metal stud framing, backing, layout, wood flooring installation, take-offs, and must be able to read construction documents. The candidate must be dependable, well spoken, clean in appearance, possess strong work ethic and the ability to engage with customers and subcontractors. Candidate must have reliable transportation and basic tools.

Skill in other trades a plus. This is a full-time position, 12 months a year. Employee package such as paid holidays and vacations, insurance, company vehicle, raise scale, and bonuses are negotiable. Starting salary will be based on experience, skill level, management skills, and the ability to meet budget and schedule. Job Responsibilities

  • Reading blueprints, providing material take-offs and all costs associated with carpentry trade.
  • Interpreting client requests and providing mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work.
  • Wood and metal stud framing.
  • Managing 1-4 laborers and/or carpenters.
  • Installing cabinets, moldings, stair components, exterior trim/siding
  • Ensuring high quality finish is achieved and maintaining a clean/safe job site

Skills and Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in finish carpentry
  • 4+ years’ experience in rough carpentry preferred
  • Experience in remodeling a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of power tools and equipment
  • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
  • Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
  • Ability to use smart phone and tablet effectively
  • Has good communication and leadership skills

  • Meeting with building owners and tenants to discuss build-out specifications and improvements
  • Driving cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field
  • Hiring and assigning construction work to each project
  • Maintaining a daily job site log
  • Coordinating all construction services and activities
  • Maintaining strict build-out construction schedule and making changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met
  • Utilizing Procore, our project management software, to document and communicate with subcontractors, architects, owners, and project managers

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Project Superintendent in the commercial construction industry
  • 2+ years’ experience in remodeling preferred
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and associated software
  • Experience working on smartphones and tablets
  • Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
  • Polite and clean in appearance

Including, but not limited to accounts payable/receivables, vendor insurance, answering phones, client and vendor support, banking, and several other important operational responsibilities. Must have experience in Microsoft project, Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks. Must also have experience in the construction industry with basic knowledge of industry standard processes and systems. Basic construction accounting experience is a must.
